Plancius has left Ushuaia in the morning of the 6th March only a few hours after scheduled departure. The ship had to wait for late passenger and staff arrivals due to flight cancellations.  The Captain proceeds with maximum speed possible in good weather conditions across the Drake passage catching up with time in order to deliver the programme as initially scheduled.

Are you tough enough - ready for a polar plunge?
