14-12-2011 | South Georgia crossings completed

The ski explorers and their leaders have returned back safely to the ship.  The majority of the skiers had to retreat from Trident ridge due to bad weather and followed an alternative descent route to North coast. A smaller contingent decided to continue to Fortuna Bay where they united with the rest of the team for the final stretch of the Shackleton route to Stromness. Oceanwide will offer another crossing in October 2012. Register  now !
