Kayaking: an amazing way to explore the polar coastlines

Kayaking is one of the most amazing ways to explore the remote Arctic and Antarctic coastlines. With 15 fellow paddlers per voyage and a kayak guide you have the opportunity to go off the beaten track. Paddling between icebergs or pack ice, seeing animals in their natural environment, the only sound you hear is water dripping from the paddles. Kayaking in polar areas adds greatly to the experience of being in an unspoiled wilderness.

Basic kayak experience is required, physical fitness essential. All equipment on board (thick neoprene wetsuit, shoes, gloves, hood and kayak). Kayakers bring personal gear. Oceanwide kayak guides are experts in their field and keen for facilitating adventure at sea. Kayaking is subject to weather and prevailing ice conditions.
