Oceanwide Expeditions is a full member of the International Association of Antarctic Tour operators (IAATO), a member organization founded in 1991 to advocate, promote and practice safe and environmentally responsible private sector travel to the Antarctic.

Oceanwide Expeditions is also a full member of the Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators (AECO), a member organisation founded in 2004 to advocate, promote and practice safe and environmentally responsible private sector travel to Spitsbergen, Jan Mayen, and Greenland.
